Great South African Recipes we all love.

We all love those great S.A recipes that just make your mouth water in anticipation of what's to come.

I thought it would be a great idea to share with you some wonderful recipes that I know all of us just love, that is when it comes to great S.A cooking.

Throughout the years growing up I always enjoyed being in and around the kitchen, picking up my love for the great S.A traditions. I must add that I am no qualified chef, but learning in the kitchen by my mother's side was all I needed to inspire me. As a South African myself, of course meat is on the top of my list of favourites. No, no... meat is not on my list for the recipes, but more of the finer, more intricate dishes that some of you would know and also might not know.

As young as a toddler I was picking up tips in the kitchen, from sifting flour to pouring milk, to rolling the dough and obviously what all toddlers do in the kitchen.... Yes, you have guessed it... MAKING ONE BIG MESS. The flour was more on my face than in the mixing bowl. The flour on my face planted the seed of THE GREAT S.A RECIPES WE ALL LOVE.

I am busy compiling a list of recipes that I will later add in an e-book. In this book I will focus more on the dishes that inspired me growing up. This will include from "potato rolls" to a great "Biltong" recipe.
